The new LearnAlberta.ca is a custom-developed software tool created to help develop, update and implement provincial curriculum in a digital format. The vision is to provide a bilingual, one-stop shop for Alberta teachers, parents, students and stakeholders so they can access tools and services related to provincial curriculum.
Providing access to current curriculum within the new LearnAlberta.ca will allow teachers and system leaders to familiarize themselves with this powerful tool prior to the implementation of future curriculum. It also provides opportunities for teachers and system leaders to give their feedback on the new digital platform, allowing us to make refinements and enhancements to the system.
