The sun is shining and all is well with the world? While some studies point to a boost in serotonin and happiness, on the bleak side suicide rates tend to climb as days get longer and decline as the days get shorter. So when someone tells you to cheer up the sun is out ☀️ feel free to hit them with your sun hat !
Happiness in its most authentic sense is for many of us, something to be worked on. No matter what the weather a check in with yourself as to how you're feeling and being proactive with the smallest steps can help- even if that's taking a shower or making a cup of tea to feel a little brighter. Small steps can lead to bigger action, just be kind to yourself along the journey.
