Ascend COVID-19 Research in the News

"Pioneering a scalable sampling strategy that offers a blueprint for standardized national serosurveillance in the USA and other countries with a large haemodialysing population.”

Barnaby Flower, Christina Atchison, The Lancet, September 25, 2020

In June 2020, Ascend began collaborating with Stanford University School of Medicine on a research study to estimate the exposure to COVID-19 in the U.S. dialysis population and understand the rates of protective immunity over time. The initial findings have been published in the latest issue of The Lancet. In addition, most of the leading media outlets including: The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Bloomberg News, The New York Times, CNN, etc. have posted stories related to our research.
