Another tumultuous day in Toronto real estate. Many still claiming Toronto is in the midst of a bubble. Yet all indicators as interpreted by RBC, TD, OREA, CREA, CMHC and TREB have declined to accept that Toronto is (and some would say - never was) in a bubble.
This year's FALL MARKET is turning out to be much like SPRING MARKET. In other words, a non-starter. There is just NO inventory to sell. And, as per usual, the good listings are going like a flash for considerably over their ridiculously low prices. $1.25m selling for $1.85m sounds to me like a grossly mispriced property. Either the Agent didn't know what they were doing OR they purposely staged this little drama to appease their sick ego's. (My guess is the latter.)
The City's big Municipal Elections are coming up quickly. And, it looks like early starter Keesmat is blowing her lead and floundering in the field. At this point, I suspect we will be looking at another term with John Tory. There are worst things that could happen. (And already did vis a vis Premiere Ford!)
Well, I hope your tummy's are still full from a grand THANKSGIVING dinner this past weekend. And, I hope the week ahead is full of great news and experiences.
