I would use this book for everything! They can move with what the animals say to do and we could add music along with the movement for the barnyard dance.
For the "tip, tap, tip, tap" I would have the students take turns using the triangle when reading that section.
I would use this book for movement in my classroom. Whatever the animal did in the book, we would do as a class to see if we could do it.
I would use this for both movement and music in my classroom. Whatever the type of "moo" we would make a movement or make a noise with the instruments.
I would have the students come up with an instrument or a movement to do during the title line when reading.
I could either have the students come up with sounds to the different areas they run into on their bear hunt. Or I thought about having the students make up their own hunt and turn it into a song and dance.
This book has a lot of movement instruction in it. I would use this for music and movement.
I would have each student be a different sound - "beep", "zoom", etc. They will have an instrument with each sound when I am reading it.
For the jingle of "click clack moo.." I would have the students choose the sounds to put with it.
I would add music in the background of the jingle throughout the book. I, as the teacher, would make the sound of when Pete steps in something new.
