When the Great Depression struck in the 20th century it at a huge impact on our nation. It took many people out of work and it put many people in a awful situations. This impacted me as a person because i never really knew that something terrible like this could happen and it made me realize that this could have been me in this situation. This event connects to present day because it could very well happen again as it has happened before.
The 19th amendment was a huge pivotal event in US history because it gave women the right to vote. This impacted the nation because it gave women rights which led to more big pivotal things for women. This impacts me as a person because now when I am older I am going to be able to vote and have my rights. This effects our present time because women are now able to have a voice and say what they think.
The invention on of the Model T by Henry Ford had a very large impact on our nation. People finally now had an efficient mode of transportation that everybody could use and this would soon start a revolution in the car industry.
