Digital tools are now standard in our workforce, schools, health care, and City services. But everyone doesn't possess the same ability to access or benefit from these advancements. It has never been more important to bridge the divides in Internet access and digital literacy
Our vision for digital equity is: "Full and equitable access to digital technology and its benefits so all San Francisco residents and communities can thrive, regardless of demographics."
To ensure trusted community providers are able to assist residents with their technology needs, the City strives to develop and offer centralized resources like the ones you see featured below, and train-the-trainer workshops for community-based organizations. Below you can find a list of digital resources we hope can be helpful to your work to support vulnerable populations across the City. These resources and tools can help make your work even more impactful, streamlined and easier to carry out.
We encourge community partners to use this thread to share other resources, tools, or techniques we may not be thinking about. We appreciate and value your collective wisdom.
