Examined are if the impact of job insecurity on workers differs according to their professional position, gender, and age; the importance of job insecurity compared to other stressors at work; and the importance of job insecurity compared to the impact of unemployment. Job insecurity turned out to be one of the most stressful aspects of the work situation. There were some noted gender differences

Child Health-Related Quality of Life and Household Food Security
Examined the association of household food insecurity with child self- or proxy-reported health-related quality of life (HRQOL). 6 month phone survey. Children who live in food insecure households have poorer HRQOL. The effect on physical or psycho-social function may differ by age, ethnicity, and gender. Food security should be considered an important risk factor for child health.
