Establishing Trust for IoT Devices

Connect with Jitsuin on the Azure Marketplace: https://bit.ly/2M1ZHDe Krishna Anne is the CEO of Jitsuin, a company that bring you the transparency, collaboration and automation you need to move fast and fix things while boosting Digital Transformation. As part of this discussion, we shared how their partnership with Microsoft, their use of Azure, and the Azure Marketplace has empowered them to scale and grow their business. Contact Krishna: Web: https://jitsuin.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/jitsuin/ Twitter: @jitsuin_inc Personal LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/krishnaanne/ Personal Twitter: @krishna_anne Microsoft partnership opportunities for Manufacturing partners: MFGMarketplace@microsoft.com Contact Avrohom: Web: https://asktheceo.biz Facebook: AvrohomGottheil Twitter: @avrohomg Instagram: @avrohomg INTERVIEW HIGHLIGHTS: [00:43] IoT is a major component of many business’ Digital Transformation strategy, and the number of deployments has gone up exponentially, year over year, with a projected number of 20.4 billion devices installed by the end of this year. One of the things that worry me, as someone who is active in the CyberSecurity industry, is that when thinking about a manufacturing plant where there might be hundreds of thousands of disparate connected devices on the network, you really need to have a solid operational plan in place just to keep the devices patched and updated. How can Manufacturing plants and Operators of Essential Services - such as Utilities, Transportation, Smart Infrastructure and Healthcare, secure themselves when embarking upon their digital transformation journey? [02:01] Data is the new oil, and the data needs refinement. [02:38] Krishna: Two thirds of Digital Transformation projects fail because there is no trust in the data, or security is lacking. This could be solved by having a history and knowing who did what to a thing. And automate detecting and fixing of vulnerabilities at the earliest - Creating trust in the device and data generated from it. [04:07] Jitsuin recently launched a new offering on the Microsoft Azure marketplace, called Archivist Security Twin Platform. Tell us about it and how it addresses some of the challenges we just discussed. [07:26] How would a manufacturing facility use your solution with Azure? [08:22] How can customers find out more about Archivist Security Twin Platform, and procure it through the Azure Marketplace? Krishna: You can access it via this link: https://bit.ly/2M1ZHDe. [08:50] How has partnering with Microsoft helped Jitsuin scale and grow your business? [09:58] How can people find out more about Microsoft partnership opportunities for manufacturing partners? Krishna: For more information you can send an email to MFGMarketplace@microsoft.com and get started with the Microsoft Manufacturing group and Marketplace Rewards. [10:20] How do people connect with you? Krishna: You can connect with us via our website, which is https://jitsuin.com/. We’re also on social media.
