"The researchers who designed this study wanted to show that countries which implement more @FCTCofficial recommendations have faster rates of smoking decline. The funny thing is, their data show that banning e-cigarettes reduces expected smoking declines.” ~ Charles Gardner, PhD.

The Global Forum on Nicotine announced its lineup for Panels One and Two. Panel One will be live-streamed. It's titled 'Academic freedom and the ghost of Senator Joseph R. McCarthy'. Hosted by Kevin McGirr, it features Marewa Glover, Sree Sucharitha, and Brad Rodu. A hot topic in nicotine science and THR, but rarely tackled head-on. Panel Two is titled 'Safer nicotine products - it’s not all about vaping.' Host by Tomas Hammargren with Karl Fagerström, Peter Hajek, Ernest Groman, and Rachel Murkett they will discuss whether THR focuses too much on vaping. Panel Two will not be live-streamed but it's going to be available after. You can register for the GFN at: https://gfn.events/
ANESVAP is asking for help with a petition. "Vaping is at risk. 2022 is seen as the year of the great regulatory reform in which the Government wants to end vaping. The draft of the Smoking Plan, the 2022 Regulatory Plan, and the recent denigrating campaigns by the Ministry of Health seek to misinform and confuse, making the population believe that smoking and vaping are equally harmful." Angeles Muntadas-Prim.
