Join the LGBTQ+ plant science network on Plantae! The goal of this network is to help connect folks to resources, gather and curate resources, help make our discipline more inclusive of LGBTQ+ folks, and to increase community among LGBTQ+ plant scientists for our community to succeed.

ASPB's Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee works to promote equity, diversion, and inclusion in ASPB activities and to promote the careers and professional development of under-represented plant biologists in all aspects of the Society and the profession.

This subcommittee was created to ensure that not only is the section maintaining EDI tenets and practices, but that those principles are a priority. This subcommittee has a role in determining leadership positions, leads discussions, hosts webinars, and generates content about EDI as it pertains to early-career plant scientists.

The Women in Plant Biology Committee has as its function the maintenance and enhancement of the status of women plant biologists by continuing to address issues of particular concern to

The International Committee has as its function exploring and, where consistent with the strategic plan and Society priorities, developing relationships between ASPB and other organizations based outside the United States.
