Me and my dad both love movies. I can't even remember how many we've watched. Wheather at home or in the theater we always find time to watch the latest trending movie. My personal favorite is called the heat. It was released on June 27, 2013, and stars Mellisa McCarthy and Sandra Bullock. The heat is a comedy movie about two officers with very different styles and them working on a case together. Watching them fight is hilarious. On the other hand, the movie also gives a message teamwork and how different strengths make a good team. And just so you're aware it does have swear words in it. But I promise you it will be worth your time to watch this movie. It is the best movie ever. It's summer so enjoy "The Heat"
I have learned snow boarding since I was 6 and it has become a very big part of my life. The reason is quite insignificant, however. Before I learned snowboarding I learned skiing but given the fact that the ski instructor was scary and I was very young. I decided to quit. After I went to Canada my mom recommended snowboarding, I took her advice and started to snowboard in Canada, Grouse Mountain. The snow there is really clean so My friend and I would get a packet of sugar ride towards the edge during the class, where snow is clean, and sprinkle a bit on a handful of snow and eat it. The cooling snow with the crunchy bits of sugar is the best two combinations you could've ever tasted. Even Until this day I still remember the taste of it. Anyways because of this reason and countless others I grew to love snowboarding. This gave me the inspiration to start learning other types of boards. Now I ride 5ypes of boards, including skateboarding, wake boarding, paddle boarding and skim boarding. Snowboarding Played a big role in my life and i am telling you try the sugar sprinkled snowballs.
Where the Red Fern Grows, by Wilson Rawls.
This book was recommended to me by my uncle. He is also a big reader and he said that I should give it a try. This book is about one boy and his two hunting dogs and their adventure and troubles throughout the book. The reason this book was memorable is that I was really surprised that two subjects could have a relation so deep and detailed in a book that when it ended could make the readers feel such an emotion that they could even cry.(Spoiler Alert) I was amazed by this fact and even though I don't like sad stories the red fern grows was a big realization for my reading history. It lead me to read books in deeper and more serious topics. I am very thankful towards my uncle for recommending this book to me. If you like a story with a bond between a human and a dog or just want to cry, this is the perfect book for you.
This is a story I wrote in 7th grade. I wrote it for an assignment however it was too long so I had to change the story entirely. Although I submitted a different story, I liked this one better from the two. It was a mix of dystopian and survival and it had four main characters. Max, Charles, Kaya, and Dominic. They are all supernaturals or people with super powers. It is based in the future where the population of supernaturals have evened out with the human race but the supernaturals are going berserk and human scientists decide to have a research. The reason I am proud of this story is that in the intro part it manages to introduce the main characters and their background in an interesting way so that the reader doesn't lose interest. I am very disappointed that this wasn't the final assignment so if I have a chance later I would like to continue writing this story.
Ddukbokki is traditional Korean spicy rice cake that kids often eat. I love ddukbokki. As a Korean, I have learned to love spicy foods. It's spicy combined with a tinge sweet is just impossible to not like. Also
It is easy to eat and it is cheap. Perfect for students seeking out a midnight or midday snack. If I had to pick three top ddokbbukki brands I ever ate. The first would be yupddok, a very spicy ddokbbukki that is served in very large amounts. Second, Hong corner, a little store in front of my house. And third miminae, a ddokbbukki store that has very delicious shrimp tempura. Whenever I go overseas this is the first Korean food I crave for. If you have never tried I recommend this to you.
Like some students in KIS, I am the only child in my family. Some say it's lonely and boring but I think otherwise. There are so many benefits including that you don't have to share, less stress of fighting with your siblings, and long story short everything is your choice.
As for my family, We often go out on weekends and go somewhere to play, swimming, eating, watching movies, etc. My dad and I love movies so on Saturday or Friday we download a movie and watch it. I love movie nights. My mom and dad are very supportive of my goals and are there throughout every moment of my life. They cry with me on bad days and laugh with me on good days. My family is the most important thing to me.
Ice cream is my favorite dessert. You all know icecream. It is a world wide famous snack for kids and adults. The sweet or sour flavor captures every person's taste. Including mine. Like everyone else I also have been eating ice cream from a young age. My mom used to make organic ones from home but as I grew more and older, I started liking ice cream from the market. My favorite ice cream right now is watermelon bar. Anywhere I go I always try ice cream and I have found that Korean ice cream is the most delicious and also cheap. I was also eating one as I typed this. Now especially in summer, it is the ideal snack to eat.
Jae Hwan this year 21, is the main vocal of the boy group wanna-one.
From the competitive contest of 101 boys he is the only trainee that has trained on his own and got into the group.
He also took part in singing my favorite song "Downpour". Some of his best traits are singing, laughing, childishness, and his face. His laugh is particularly special and infectious though might sound a little bit unnormal. He has unleashed a sense of childishness in the program wannaone go not even hinted in Produce 101, getting the impression of a two-faced charm and getting even more fans. He always tries hard and did not give up. He is a very good role model for non-agency trainees. Now he has a partnership with CJ entertainment.
This song is sung by the famous girl idol group I.O.I and covered by 5 trainees in a program called produce 101 season 2.
The title is Downpour. The rain symbolizes hardships however downpours it comes in large amounts but dies off quickly. So the message of this song is that there may be hardships in life but we'll get over it, that there is hope. Each sentence of the lyrics is heartwarming and understanding, about their hurt and how they're afraid. My best-loved lines are
"I'm still young, and still a bit scared although I know it'll stop soon."
"Some Day the cold rain will become warm tears and fall down, it's alright it's just a passing downpour"
It does sounds kind of weird since it's translated but it sounds better in korean. I think the fact that my favorite idol sang it also takes part. I even wrote the six-word memoir about this song. I recommend this song to you on stressful and depressing days you'll get comforted very much
