Many of us inhabit bodies and faces that don’t look as we feel they should. It’s one of the most painful aspects of being human. This is something many people can relate to. It is quite motivational and very realistic. I particularly liked it because it doesn't just say "Be proud". It is realistic to the real world and tells you what happens and what happened. I believe that this video is both informative and motivating for many people who hates their appearence.
What is it that makes us most distinctively ourselves? Our bodies, our memories, our values...? Take a tour through the philosophy of personal identity. This video tells us what we could be. Who we really are. In my interpretation most of it is correct. It tells us specifically on our purpose and what our identity is.
Many people would know who this person is. She appears in Vogue magazine and is a very popular model today. I personally like her because of her style and personality when she talks. She is more into our pop culture era and she is really wonderful on television and without it.
This is Julie Andrews, the person that played Mary Poppins and Maria in Sound of Music. Her voice is very different from the voices of singers today, but it is still classy and beautiful. She showed an amazing performance in Sound of Music with her beautiful singing and it amazed me. As a child I really liked her, and now, I still think she's a gorgeous person.
Horses are majestic creatures that comes out in many fairy tales. Horses can be a type of transportation, but they are quite rare to see on the streets of Korea. Horses might be like a deer, but they are more captivated and tamed by humans. The large horses seem really beautiful to me and I really want to ride one sometime soon.
My favorite animal is a deer. Not the adorable ones without the antlers, but the ones with large, massive ones. I think it's beautiful how the antlers are naturally shaped, also this creature seems quite mysterious to me. They quickly disappear and they appear out of nowhere. These creatures really are ethereal.
This quote makes me think many things. It makes me ponder about my ideal or someone else's ideal of happiness. This quote somehow makes me sad, but fascinated at the same time because many of us do things for others instead of for themselves. They're doing nothing for themselves which means that they don't care what they're doing, but they just want to make you happy. It's depressing in many ways if you think about it.
This quote might be something many people can relate to. Sometimes no one thinks you have these certain type of feelings. Even if you can't see anything clearly, you can still feel sad or happy.
My favorite color is pure white. I do know that in art, white is not considered as a color, but I think it is a color because we see it. The photograph mostly shows white and it seems so clean and pure which makes me love this picture.
White roses symbolize pureness which made me more intrigued with these particular type of rose. As a person that likes white and roses, this photograph really is beautiful to me. It actually seems so surreal.
This picture means a lot to me, personally because of the vintage and old aesthetic, but mostly because of the travelling suitcases. I really like travelling, and a lot of times I go abroad with my family, which means a real lot to me. The old-looking suitcases make me wonder what kind of adventures these suitcases went through.
This photograph shows many types of radios which brings out a nice vintage aesthetic. personally, I am a fan of vintage and old objects, so the picture makes me happy whenever I see it. Sometimes I even wonder if there is some kind of symbolism behind this.
Directed and conceived by Melanie Martinez. Produced by DJ Brawner "Pity Party" produced by CJ Baran This music video might be something many can relate to. The video shows that there is no one that came for Melanie's party. The loneliness and sadness makes her furious causing her to break and destroy all the things in her party. These are one the real world problems many people can relate to. The video first seems happy and bright, but later on that changes to the opposite. It shows a great contrast in a way when the moods change.
Written & Created by Melanie Martinez Directed and Shot by Nathan Scialom & Tom McNamara Produced by Melanie Martinez, Nathan Scialom, Tom McNamara, and Nullah Sarker Visual FX & Editing by the SteamyintheCity Music Collective This music video is very meaningful. The so-called "dolls" are supposed to be a perfect family, but in reality, they are all breaking down. It is their duty to look perfect when the girl comes. This music video is by far the most viewed video Melanie has ever made. Probably because of the wonderful props and the great story. Also because the song's beat and the lyrics are quite easy to remember.
Published on Nov 15, 2016 Directed and conceived by: Melanie Martinez Cinematography by: Josh McKie Executive Producer: Wes Teshome This music video shows a girl trying to "steal" a man from the other girl. She seduces him to make him hers, but at the end, the girlfriend took the man away from her. Melanie's videos connect with each other and the meanings in them are truly appalling. The design and the aesthetic is impressive and the song is catchy making me, myself like it even more. It is really a beautiful music video.
Published on Aug 23, 2016 Directed and conceived by Melanie Martinez Cinematography by Josh McKie Executive producer: Wes Teshome Set design by Holly Trotta Tag, you're it/Milk and cookies double feature is a music video with two songs combined together. It might've not looked fluent, but with another song, there is more story in the whole music video. There is a lot of hidden and perhaps dark meanings in the lyrics and in the video itself. The music video portrays the dark situation in a cute and bright aesthetic making it subtly creepy.
