Korea is my home country and my heritage. It is the place both my parents were born in, making me also Korean. I am still American though because I was born in America. Some people think I am Chinese or Japanese, mostly and that gets kind of annoying but also cool because I am very unique. I am proud to be Korean because it has a lot of history and unique food and culture.
Nike. One of my, all-time favorite cloth, and shoe brands. The quote "Just Do It" motivates me to do all kind of stuff. It really gets to me and one of the things I need to say to myself all the time. Quality wise of the brand itself is pretty good too. My favorite part of the brand is the shoes. Shoes, according to me say a lot about the person wearing it. For example if someone is wearing expensive looking shoes you would think he is wealthy of some sort. Nike represents the motivation in me.
Barnes & Noble is the place that made me love books. It is the 1st place to go for buying good quality books for me. Barnes & Noble opened my eyes for reading a book and for using my imagination for each word, each description, and page. Because of Barnes & Noble I now read tons of books and I love it.
Dogs are the best. My all-time, favorite, animal. Dogs make you smile and make you think of happy things. Their soft fur and their little tongue sticking make me want one. Dogs are also kind of alike me. Very social, friendly, and relatable, when you get to know that person. Without dogs I would never be myself knowing that the furry, cute, friendly, and playful creature never existed.
This school has built me of who I am today academically and socially. My 1st year to my 5th year I enjoyed all of it going through with my friends and family. I will always remember the memories and will always push myself knowing what I’ve achieved through life. I hope middle school will be just as challenging and life changing as it did in elementary.
GameStop is one of the places I like because I've always liked games. I like to go there because they have games of course but it's one of the things that I like to have fun with. To me games show a lot of creativity because every game has a unique story and unique art style. This makes me have fun and a creative mind at the same time.
The movies opened up a whole new world of filming and ideas. The first time I went there I was amazed of the big screen and the popcorn. This place is one the places I go to, to socialize and enjoy with my friends or family. To me this is the best entertainment there is with other people. This opened up curiosity for filming and directing too. I always asked myself, how do they these make movies?
Fishing is a part of my social life doing it with my dad and friends. This was part of my life where I learned patience. It helped me to just recap what was going on in my life while I waited and just think about everything. It was also a bonding session between me and my dad (even though we already have a good relationship.) talking to each other and having fun together.
Legos opened up my creativity and let me express it. Even though I don't play with Legos now they will always be a part of me and my creativity. I was always amazed and happy whenever I completed a Lego building or set. I would play with it with my friends and use my imagination with it. Without Legos I bet I would be more practical or dull using my brain in creative ways.
Discovery Cove was one of the best places I went to for vacation. I will never forget Discovery Cove because it was one of the places that changed me. It made me more attached to aquatic nature and being curious about sea animals. From that day it made me more open about myself in all ways. It was also always be a part of my childhood and one of the things that made me most happy then.
