For almost three years, I lived in England otherwise known as the United Kingdom. We lived in a village called Penn which is about 30 miles west of London. My family moved there because my husband got a job transfer. Click on the Pinterest boards to see some pictures of some of my favorite places in England.
To say that I like to read is an understatement. Click on the link to see some of my favorite books. Can you guess what is my favorite genre? I belong to a book club. There are twelve women in it and once a month we get together to discuss the same book that we all read. When I have book club, my family always complains that we are loud and we hardly talk about the book! We talk about the book-for about ten minutes-we spend the other three hours talking about everything else!
My new favorite show to watch this summer was World of Dance. I don't watch much TV, but I do have a weakness for World of Dance and So You Think You Can Dance. I love all kinds of dance-lyrical, hip hop, ballet, contemporary, jazz, and ballroom. Tap...........eh...not so much. I also have been known to watch every single episode of all of the different Law and Order series.

Some people love nothing more than to stay at home and nest. Me.....not so much. The tagline says it all: if travel was free, you'd never see me. I am never happier than when my suitcase is packed and I am exploring a new place, preferably in a location that requires a U.S. passport. Click on the website to see my dream vacation. I haven't made it there, yet, but I will someday:)
The day after school got out, my family and I left for a vacation and headed for Seattle, Washington. My son, Andrew, is seventeen and he is going to be a senior at Murrieta Valley High School this year. My daughter, Alexis, is fourteen and she is going to be a freshman at MVHS. My husband's name is George and we've been married for (almost) twenty-one years. We went to Washington and Oregon to look at colleges that Andrew is interested in attending. We visited the University of Oregon, Seattle University, University of Washington, Seattle Pacific University, University of Puget Sound, Pacific Lutheran University, and Sonoma State University (in California-on the way home). I was surprised (and thrilled) that Andrew's favorite school was Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington. This is where I went to college for the first two years.
