I am Mormon, and I think that is definitely a huge part of my identity. As everyone's religion in my opinion should be. After all what you believe in, is literally the mold for the type of person you are. Our beliefs are the center of the reason we abide our daily lives the way we do. Even if someone isn't religious, their personal morals are still some of their most defining traits.
I have an identical twin sister, and although it's a lot of fun and I love my sister, some people don't understand that it's also super difficult to be a twin. It doesn't feel good when someone who's known you for three years doesn't know your name, and it can be easy to lose your sense of personal identity. Despite this I wouldn't change it for the world!
As a kid I moved around a ton while my dad was doing finishing school. I've lived in Idaho, California, Florida, and several parts of Colorado. I think because of this I've had a lot of neat experiences, and have learned a lot.
I'm on the varsity cheer team at Thunderridge, and before high school I competed in all-star cheer for two years. Most people actually don't know that aside from games we also go to our own competitions It's an awesome sport, and contrary to popular belief it's actually really difficult. Between extreme and dangerous stunts and throwing flips, the sport has about as many injuries as football. Especially in all-star or college cheer.
I have a very close family and i think that they should always come first. Friends are important, and it's essential to have close friends. However, the love of a mother or sibling will never be comparable to that of a friend. I realize not everyone's home situation is the same but usually, our family is the people who will love you unconditionally. They take care of you even if you mess up. Close families always forgive each other even after seeing each other's worst.
I love my friends, and I think that having close ones is actually essential to complete happiness and success. You aren't always with your family, and even if you are you need to hang out with and create relationships with other people as well. Although some people think I'm shy at first, I'm actually super talkative and social. I don't know what I would do without my friends.
