This site has taught me a lot about the rainforests, Things like how only 2% of the world is a rainforest but about 50% of animals live there, and how rainforests are no different to ordinary forests besides the fact that they receive higher amounts of rainfall, another fact I learned was that There were around 6 million square miles of rainforest in the beginning, but now because of deforestation, there are really only less than half of that still found in the world which isn’t a good thing because animals lose their habitats, homes and families, FOR BOOKS AND ERASERS.
This sight interested me because it told me that tropical rain forests important chemicals to treat and cure different medical conditions including inflammation, rheumatism, diabetes, muscle tension, cancer and much more, tropical rain forests also give us a heap ton of diet influenced food and fruit such as corn, potatoes, guava, pineapple etc.
This sight taught me more about the amount of rain tropical forests get, telling me that in a year tropical rain forests get from 50-260 INCHES of rain which is a massive number compared to Australia's 16 inches or rain yearly. The typical rain forest is normally really humid because of all the rainfall, with humidity averaging 77-88 percent,
This site has taught me some valuable info that I actually might use on future projects, like the fact that rainforests are important because the water they produce is later evaporated and used as rain, Rainforests average temperature is in-between 21-28 degrees Celsius and one of the strangest facts yet is that Some have a thickness that equals the circumference of a human being, which is insane
This site taught me that the Amazon rainforest is so big that If it were a country it’d be the ninth biggest country in the world being bigger than countries like Algeria, Mexico and Saudia Arabia and matching the size of Kazakhstan
