A young teen decides to join the U.S. military after escaping the Nazis and sneaks in because he is too young but ends up getting captured after his plane crashes. He eventually is freed from a German POW camp by American forces. This book is on my list because it is very interesting, with lots of action. It is very suspenseful because I never knew if he was going to survive or not. It's also a short book and a quick read which is perfect for summer.
Two young boys become friends, one of them is the son of a Nazi commander and the other is a Jewish prisoner in the concentration camp. The German boy eventually goes into the concentration camp and realizes how horrible his friend's life is. This book is on my best books list because I like stories about World War II (like The Last Mission.) I actually didn't know what to expect before I read it. It reminds people of how bad Jewish people were treated by the Nazis in World War II.
Thomas and Teresa are the main characters and are trying to figure out what side they are on. Wicked is a group of people that say they are trying to save the world, but are also doing terrible things to kids like Thomas and Teresa. This book is on my list because it has action and I like stories that take place in a dystopian world. And I really like books by this author.
Micheal is still trying to defeat Kaine the evil gamer who this time has a new plan to take over the virtnet. Michael is in someone else's body and has to deal with the other body's problems and friends, who don't realize it's Michael. This book is on my best books list because I read the first book in the series and liked it, and I like series books because the stories can go on longer.
Micheal is trying to save his friend from ending it all but for real there in the virtnet where it's almost real but it is a full body experience. If you die in the virtual world you can die in real life. I read this book because it was by the same author as The Maze Runner which was one of my favorite series. Dashner is a good author and met my high expectations for this book.
