The classic love story, but better. Colin, the abusive rude man with a good heart beneath his act, and Maria the good girl who is very pretty and sweet. Both coming from such different pasts, you would have thought that they would have never met, but they did, when Marias car broke down. Colin must be very careful for danger is at every corner for him. Marias past is catching up to her and Colin gets very protective of her. I liked this book because it was very well written and I like Nicholas Sparks a lot.
Lily (Aka Summer, her real name) has been kidnapped. Her kidnapper, Colin, is a very mentally disturbed man. He rapes the women he captures and names them after flowers. At all times they must do whatever he must say, or be punished. Colin has a very abusive past and has always dreamed of having a perfect family, and this is his "perfect" family. I liked this book because it is very different and I loved how it was written. I am very into realistic, suspenseful, dark stories and this fit that category to the "T".
Nancy was raped and got infected with aids. What she originally thought was a cold. This is a copy of her diary as she went through these things. The names have been changed to secure her privacy. I liked this book because I liked how it was anonymous and it is a very inspiring book with a strong message. It catches your attention.
In this dystopian you world, you can come back to life. Wren was shot in the chest 3 times, before coming back to life after 178 minutes. 178 minutes is one of the most dangerous being that the longer your "dead" the less human like you are. She is one of the best soldiers there is. Wren then gets assigned Callum, who was dead for only 22 minutes. He is not good at all at being a reboot. You follow Wrens story as she trains Callum and makes a lot of decisions that could change her life. I liked this book because it was very well written. I got immersed into the story very easily and it was an entertaining read.
Conor's mother is dying of cancer and is in critical condition. Nothings helping, so Conor must live with his grandmother. A monster visits him multiple time telling him stories without happy endings. The monster only visits at midnight in Conors dream. I liked this book because it is very different and it is a fast read. You immerse in the story and you get very hooked.
