I joined 5FD my sophomore year, I tired out freshmen year and got a callback but didn't attend because I didn't think it would be something I enjoy. However now that I'm on the team I love it and everyone on it, we are such a great group of friends. everyone on the team cares about you and will always be there for you when you need them.......we also have a show November 30th at 3pm for $3 and 7pm for $5.... If you want to attend
I went to Philmont in 2015 with my dad and patrol, the Exploding Archer's. It was a life changing experience for me and I love to spend time outside and enjoy the beauty of nature. I love exploring outside and feeling disconnected from all of the extra noise. Unfortunately on the second to last day our trek was at Philmont a massive storm hit the entire ranch. Floods swept across the whole ranch taking peoples gear and leaving massive piles of debris in its wake. There were land slides that blocked roads and pot holes as big as cars. During this storm a young scout was swept away in his tent during the middle of the storm. The scout drowned in his tent was found miles from his camp. We didn't find out about the terrible news until we got to the last camp where we got picked up. It was an unfortunate event for such a beautiful place.
I am now a Life scout and plan on getting my Eagle. My brother just got his Eagle and I want to follow in his footsteps, but not entirely because he waited till the last second to do his project....... But I want to have that accomplishment.
I've been playing tennis since the 1st grade, my mom is a USTA tennis player and has got me to play tennis all year, during the spring I play for the team here at Parkway South, but during the off season I practice and play on a team at the MAC off of Des Peres Rd.
I've also been swimming since before I can remember. I have been swimming for my neighborhood team since I was 6 and for South since I was a freshmen. I also dive for south along with two of my good friends who I convinced to dive with me. I love to swim, but the water has to be warm.
I love to connect with my friends and a good way to do that with having be social is playing Xbox together. We all connect over games, such as The Witcher 3. My brother bought the Xbox one a few years ago but he now has a PC and is trying to sell the Xbox so I have to keep begging him to keep it.
When my dad was my age he played D&D with his friends, so when I was introduced to the game through my brother and his friends I became hooked. I have been playing with my brother for a few years and recently I have blessed my friends by introducing them to the game.
