Chesterton Academy parents are invited to join us for First Friday Mass at Chesterton Academy, followed by an opportunity for prayer, fellowship, and feedback on how the school year is going.
Spread the word to families and friends! Prospective parents and students are invited to attend an Open House at either of our campuses. They'll meet our faculty and students, learn about our curriculum, and explore our sports and other student activities.
Registration is open for our winter sports: boys' and girls' basketball. Sign up online to secure your student's spot. The deadline for registration is Friday, October 12. Go Knights!
Don't forget to bring your order forms for School Picture Day on October 12 for the Edina Campus! You can order pictures ahead of time by visiting the LifeTouch website. All students are asked to wear their school uniforms for school pictures. Seniors, please be sure to have your picture taken, even if you are not purchasing pictures. Your photo will be used to make a student ID for you.
Our annual all-school Advent Retreat will take place on Wednesday, December 12, during the school day.
Chesterton Academy seniors and sophomores are volunteering at CSCOE's Mass of the Holy Spirit on Wednesday, October 10. With over 12,000 students attending from archdiocesan schools, we are happy to lend our support! All seniors and sophomores need to report to the Edina Campus prior to bus departure at 8:30AM. Lunch will be provided for them. Edina 9th and 11th graders attend Mass as usual at Holy Family before Junior PSAT testing and regular classes. St. Paul 9th graders have classes as normal.
Fall Ball is on Saturday, October 13, from 6:00-10:00PM at the Edina Campus. Organized by the senior class, this year’s theme is Fairytale Classics. Students are welcome to dress in costume, but please keep the out-of-uniform policy in mind. Tickets are now on sale during lunch, $5 pre-sale and $7 at the door.
Chesterton Academy students will again travel to Washington, D.C. with the archdiocese for the 40th Annual March for Life, January 15-20. All students and their families are welcome to join! In addition to the national rally, we will attend the Students for Life conference. Download the form online and return it to the school office with your payment. Deadline for registration is October 15.
Chesterton Academy is seeking an experienced, energetic, and result-oriented Business Manager to perform all school finance and accounting functions. This is a part-time position. Do you know someone who would be a good fit? Please encourage them to inquire and apply online.
Generations of Americans have been told that college graduates earn more than non-college graduates. This may have been true in 1998, but is it still true in 2018? The Charlemagne Institute invites you to attend a seminar on the value of a degree and alternatives to student loan debt this Saturday, October 6, 2:30-5:00PM. This event is free to the public and requires pre-registration.
The Church of Saint Mark is hosting a special screening of the new documentary film, "Sexual Revolution: 50 Years Since Humanae Vitae." Come and join us this Saturday, October 6 , in the gymnasium at Saint Mark's from 6:00-9:00PM. After the film, Dr. Deborah Savage will be hosting a Q&A session.
The Rosary Coast to Coast, a national event, is taking place this Sunday, October 7, on the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary and the anniversary of the Battle of Lepanto. The parish of St. Charles Borromeo invites all Chesterton Academy families to pray the rosary at the church along Stinson Blvd. at 3:00PM. There will also be outdoor Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
