Ontario Cannabis Store hopes to sell edibles and beverages in the fall

When edible cannabis products are legalized by the federal government this October, the Ontario Cannabis Store (OCS) will be ready.


Quebec restaurant chain Foodtastic acquires Ottawa’s Big Rig Brewery

Foodtastic, which operates 55 restaurants under seven different banners, mostly in Quebec, announced Monday it has acquired Big Rig Brewery. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Big Rig brewmaster and co-founder Lon Ladell is boosting his equity stake in the brewery and will continue to oversee its brewing operations.

Keats says not only did opening the store offer him a better work-life balance, but he realized that working with Lego was therapeutic, helping to ease his anxiety.
