Electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla has opened a service centre in Kitchener, its first brick-and-mortar location in Ontario outside of the Greater Toronto Area. It's located at 663 Victoria St. N., the former home of used car dealership and service facility Saab of KW. The new service centre is able to undertake all repairs for Tesla's electric vehicles, including software diagnostics and parts replacement.
Tesla had been rumoured to be coming to the property for more than a year, ever since Saab of KW owners Ron and Ray Kraishnik retired and sold the nearly two-acre property next to the Conestoga Parkway.
