A year in the village

It’s been a year since Elise Francis opened up The Village Green in Ingleside, and while the first year of any business is sometimes rough, Francis said things are going well for the small flower and gift shop.

Francis said they held a small open house to mark their one-year anniversary, which was a lot of fun.

“The Gallagher family had offered to play for us for our grand opening and they came back and played for us,” said Francis. “It was really fun. We had people visiting and this time around we had old friends and family and new friends.”
