In past they used natural resources. They used natural objects as tools, but their tools do did not go so far from state of their natural source. Man-made tools, on the other hand, have become more and more noticeable from natural objects as we have moved away from the animal kingdom. They used man made tools such as axes, weapons and e.t.c.
Ancient Mesopotamia Tools are Sculptors,Metal Tools,Bones,Sickles and Copper. In ancient times or when civilization started then first homo sapiens worked with bones. They created bone tools such as axes,chains or hammer. . Then they created stone tools and that was called stone age because they started working with stones. They made axes and stronger tools to kill animals. Then after they worked with stones they figured out that they can work with metal. So they started making metal tools. They made knifes, stabbing tools and axes. These four tools changed a lot of things.
There were four things that started with civilization. It was to control the fire. It was basically how you learned to control fire because before civilization they didn't know how fire came and burned stuff. They thought of it like magic even though they didn't know what magic means. The second thing was domestication of animals. This means when they find an animal and convert it into a food. An example is now days we eat chicken or fish that was a animal. The third thing was slavery of people who went to jail or prison. The last thing is private property. Then in days people had there own property like we do now. These are the four things.
When people started to discover things and tools. They first discovered about fire and how to make fire from stones. They used stones as there biggest fighting or protecting tool and with stones they made fire. Two million years ago people waited when fire comes so they could guess how to make fire but when civilization started people started to know or discover how to make fire. They maybe have used pieces of flint stones and banged together to created sparks. They may have also rubbed two sticks together generating enough heat to start a blaze. Fire provided different purpose such as warmth and light and kept wild animals away at night. Fire was useful in hunting. Hunters with torches could drive a herd of animals over the edge of a cliff. People also learned how to cook with fire. They learned how to cook meat with smoke. Cooking made life easier because they could swallow much more easily and it was really helpful to people who didn't have teeth. The most common tools or swords at that time were spear points for hunting, hand axes and choppers for cutting up meat and scrapers for cleaning animal hides.
