This might sound a little ridiculous, but I absolutely love Beyonce. In October I saw her in concert, and I loved it. I laughed and cried and had a fantastic time, especially because I went with my best friend. Her album Lemonade meant a lot to me, as she talked about a lot of personal issues. It was beautiful. (Beyonce is pregnant right now, and I'm freaking out!!!)
This year, I have completely changed my bedroom. Over the summer I painted it white, and then during the school year I put pictures up, put up Christmas lights, recently got a new mattress, and finally made my space my own. It looks completely different, and I have never been more comfortable and happy when I come home.
Without my friends supporting me, I don't know where I would be. My friends have been to all of my shows, I have spent weekend after weekend with them, and stayed up so late having conversations about our lives and future. My senior year was made because of them. Not only my senior friends, but my friends from all grades. Thinking about not seeing them after high school is heartbreaking.
Theater is one of the most important things in my life, and throughout the school year I have been involved in 5 shows. I did WCHS's Jekyll and Hyde show choir, the Haunting of Hill House, Stuart Little with BG on Stage, I did makeup for Addams Family, and am currently in Love/Sick with BGoS. This is my passion, and I plan to continue this in my future.
Personally, prom was one of my favorite high school experiences. I have been to all four WCHS proms, as well as winning 2017 prom queen. I never thought I would be the "type" of person to win, as I am very involved with choir and theater. I love being with my friends and creating memories; I absolutely loved that memory. My dance with Nnamdi was one of the best parts, and I will always remember that moment when I hear that song.
