Collab was commissioned by DMC to analyze how it could create new ways for DMC to sell their Embroidery Floss. Starting its discovery, Collab looked for unusual and fun techniques that were not being used in the market. We discovered a timeless craft from Japan called Kumihimo, and put a manufacturing spin on it, turning it into a product for DMC customers. We then created lots of content around the product to teach customers how to Kumihimo.
