Soccer has always been one of my favourite sports. I love running long distances, playing along side team mates(a sense of belonging). Anticipation of what moves will be made from either side. Constantly on edge, that even if your sitting out(break) it's like your the one with the ball. When your eyes are alerted, down to the last few intense seconds, and the thrill of winning(many forms).
Smiling and laughing is a great part of life. I enjoy comedy in bits/skits/parodies, movies and TV shows. It's a really great feeling to laugh. Sometimes, I feel like I'll never stop. Also, talking/communicating(text, skype) with Friends and Family. All or part of this contributes to a happy and healthy life.
Great developed/developing characters, well crafted vocabulary, and implicitly written. Really, makes a reader think(I guess more when writing a critical essay) ;)
I really only watch Supergirl & the Flash but the others in the photos(couldn't crop them out) are also great examples of Heroes. One of the best aspects about them all is their relatability, (to me) that makes them more interesting. They are more than Heroes, they are Heroic Leaders.
I love, actually more than love Poutine! Especially Costco's and Popeye's. It is Canadian so... another great reason! The squishy cheese curds mixed with crispy fries, both cloaked in a savory-yellowish-gold gravy. Usually, my motto before trying food is: 'unlikely to be as mouth watering as Poutine'. Warning though, I am Poutine biased. Plus, there are a variety of recipes to suit different tastes.
I was born in Ottawa,Ontario and this(to me) is one of the best/interesting place to be (there). It's fascinating to know for a fact that this is the main building where decisions are made(in Canada). Plus, there are many "Canada Day" celebrations(and memories) around here.
A simply beautiful country that possesses a diverse assortment of animals. One, of the many places I've been. Others include: Dubai, Bahrain, Germany, London, Yemen, Portland(Maine), Zimbabwe and Somalia. Road trips to Portland,Maine but, Airplane trips to everywhere else listed above. I was lucky to go along with the majority of my family(except my Dad sometimes). Have witnessed a collection of cultures/traditions, lifestyles, religions, and food. Some, people's personalities was the sun shining on me. The best family trip!
Unfortunately I have not been, but it is one of my life long goals. It is a religious aspect of Islam, if you are capable of going. For one person to be there for about 2 weeks is around 9 to 10 thousand dollars(go-stay-back). Millions attend yearly. I hope to go with my mom the most(of course I'm hoping to be the one that pays ). ;)
Muslim literally means anyone who obeys Allah(only true God). That is only possible if, you follow the Islam correctly. You either obey(Muslim) or you don't(non-Muslim). So, Terrorists are not Muslims! This concept is not understood by many. Mostly, because the Media(many forms of it) doesn't properly represent. Influencing, countless views.
I'm going to graduate next year, I'd really like to attend the University of Alberta. With all the requirements(much more actually). Still, indecisive about my 'dream job'. Taking almost every class, to keep all my doors wide open. Hoping, to find the career that I am passionate about. Soon!
Being me, I tend to forget to separate "striving for perfection" and "striving to be me". With School, Family and extracurricular activities(like volunteering). It is very easy to blur the bordering line(s).
A quote that should be followed by all rulers(like Kings, Presidents and Queens). Would eliminate many world inequalities and war fare. If, there was fair and proper universal leadership(doesn't have to be the same person leading). It's very serious to me, how people;humans just like us, are losing their lives(to other humans). It is awfully ridiculous.
Everyone has problems, and we all believe that "if only I got/had this" or "didn't have to deal with this/that", then we'd finally be happy. But, right after a problem is resolved, another one is bound to be knocking on your front door. Plus, there are always going to be people who are in better circumstances. You, shouldn't rate your life and yourself based on that. Excluding, the fact that there are people who are less fortunate than you. This is an unhealthy outlook on life, to constantly degrade yourself. Eventually, this will become a habit, like a cloud of darkness will follow you. The acknowledgement of holes(negatives) in many things instead of enjoying it (like others). Remember this life isn't suppose to be perfect, so why are people pushing to??? Self-duty? to who, then? you? or some one else? All I know, is to go on like this, will only cause harm. I've noticed that if you work hard with what you've got and believe in yourself, you will go a long way.
