I was born and raised in the Philippines. Not until 2014 - we moved here in Canada. Needless to say, I am missing my hometown. If I can, I would have traversed the Pacific Ocean like Noah splitting the red sea - that would be pretty dope!
When I was a little kid, I have an ambition of becoming a veterinarian. Although my parents supported me with this idea when I was a kid, unfortunately, I can't work with animals for a long period of time due to my asthma (I know so sad) instead, my ambition went from a veterinarian to a nurse. Not until in junior high that I want to become a librarian.
My dream job is to work in a library or a bookstore! You might think "Oh, she probably is a bookworm and prefer to lounge in her room rather than go hang-out with her friends -- 𝙞𝙛 she has one", no! - I love the quiet environment and organizing books in general. But yes! I do read books online in the norm and my favorite genre is supernatural.
Cooking/Baking is one of my hobbies - besides reading, it brings me comfort and therapeutic effects every time I'm depressed...or hungry (which is most of the time). I am fond of cooking international cuisines like Greek, Italian, Mexican, etc.
Ever since I was 12, my dream car was and always a JEEP WRANGLER. I love the way it looks cool and chic. Every time I see one driving past me - I feel giddy - like a kid going in a candy store for the first time and stare at the vehicle like a deer caught in the headlights until it was out of my view.
𝟏. Skydiving - I want to overcome my fear of falling. 𝟐. Learn how to sign language - I think that's pretty cool. 🤗 𝟑. Travel to Korea and Japan! - I would love to learn about their cuisine...basically food 𝟒. Ride an Elephant - know how to feel tall? At least for once. 𝟓. Meet Jackie Chan - he's my superhero since birth.
*𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐫* This is NOT the running man challenge! 𝘙𝘶𝘯𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘢𝘯 is a South Korean variety show (game show) where the MCs and the guests have to complete missions to win prizes such as a trip to abroad, sponsors, donating food or clothes to homeless people or people who have special needs under the winner's name, etc. Watching episodes after episodes of this show relieve my stress and did not fail to make me happy and laugh my butt off. Don't worry about the subtitles! This show is extremely popular in Asia that it has more than 14 different subtitles almost immediately as soon as it was released.
Anime was part of my childhood memories, so I decided to mention it. My all-time favorite anime is... 𝘊𝘖𝘋𝘌 𝘎𝘌𝘈𝘚𝘚! - although I would not recommend this for sensitive people who do not like violence and killing innocents. Basically, it's about obliterating everyone who's against the empire (Japanese vs. British).I also love 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘱𝘪𝘦𝘤𝘦, 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘳𝘺 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘦, 𝘯𝘢𝘳𝘶𝘵𝘰, you name it! Anyone know what CC's real name?
My favorite music genre of all time is KPOP! I am a multi-fandom kpop person -- meaning I support and a fan of lots of different band/idols. I also listen to jazz, reggae, pop songs - really depends on what mood am I in.
Speaking of multiple fandoms, I am 17carats, army, shawols, wannables, exo-l, garnets and me(u). I know it's a lot but believe me, the list goes on. Those are fandom names also known as what the band/idol group's fans are called. For instance, 'believer' for Justin Bieber's fans. 'Swifties' for Taylor Swift's fans.
My sister and I went to Bruno Mars concert On July 31, 2017. My sister manages to get us tickets on the floor section-fifth row-center, right after the VIP section. AMEN to that!! Saying that I was excited is an understatement. I was 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥! Even though the concert did not even start yet I feel like a firework ready to burst. I think I was temporarily deaf for a week or so after the concert due to my sister's scream. She screams like an atomic bomb - no joke - still, give me shivers every time I think of it.
Surreal!!! Coldplay comes to Rogers Place on September 26, 2017. I was so stoked during the concert! Even though I wasn't a fan at first, I think it changed after the concert. 𝐏.𝐒. I actually caught one of the huge balloons in the video. Imagine a small Asian girl carrying a massive balloon twice her size at the transit center with the summer breeze and trying to fit it on the bus. It was a total epic fail.
