A water cycle is a a process where the water moves through different phases and turns in different things too. For the Flint water crisis, the water became contaminated because it was full of chemicals that are in watersheds since everything that went with that water was included in the water cycle. When the water went through the pipe, it caused lead to get in the water because the chemicals touched the pipes and the lead came. At the end, the water that's in the water cycle can get chemicals due to human and natural wreckage.
A water shed is when all of the lands drains come all together in the same place. The watershed is related to this because a watershed happens because of the all the things that get through and into the water that's in the water cycle. For example, snow melt would swim into the rivers and that would go in the soil and would continue on to cause a watershed.
The Flint water crisis was an event when Michigan's water had to be changed to Flint Water to Flint River. They had to change their water because the water that was coming from their water source because it was not clean due to their water treatment and lead to 100,000 people drinking lead.
