The United States has experienced some “wacky weather” since September of 2017. Even states that haven’t had snow for a while have had over an inch of snow, like Florida and Texas. Some scientist believe this may be caused by global warming and that we should expect more “wacky weather”.
Mosses in Canada’s Eastern Arctic that was once trapped in ice was thawed out and recently discovered. Some mosses have been buried for over 115,000 years. Through a process called Dating mosses scientist have been able to monitor the newly exposed moss, they were dead then they came back to life and then died again. With this repeated process they are called “Zombie moss”.
A “weather bomb” has been caused by a hurricane in the North Atlantic Ocean. The weather bomb creates its own seismic waves on the Tectonic Plates. A group of scientist in Japan found 2 different kind of S waves while doing research. There origins are still a mystery.
