In partnership with parents and community members, our goal is to model, teach, and develop the character of the students entrusted to us each day. Utilizing Studies Weekly Character Education curriculum, I will teach a character education classroom lesson each month to reinforce the importance of character. As part of my effort to support children's social and emotional growth, I offer a variety of small counseling groups each year. The next group I will host is Children of Incarcerated Parents.

Through their feedback, the Department can ensure the extended standards reflect the experience Ohio educators and parents have gained with them since their adoption five years ago.
