The japanese used propaganda paper to make the people in singapore think that they will be very kind to them so as to make sure that no one will oppose to them and become an anti japanese. 2)Explain how the source is relevant to the aspect of life that you are focussing on. What does it show about the situation in pre-Jap Occupation and/or during Japanese Occupation. I can infer from this source that propaganda was used during the japanese occupation so as to bring the fear to the people in singapore to make sure that Noone will dare to become an anti japanese and work as a spy. Fake news were also spread to ensure that the people in singapore will listen to the japanese and think that they will be kind toward them. This source shows that during the japanese occupation, many people feared the japanese and was being controlled by the japanese resulting in the people there to have no sense of belonging to singapore.
