Diné College Office of the President

Like other higher education institutions across the country, Diné College has moved to primarily online classes due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On March 12th, we understood the necessary adjustments we needed to make to ensure the health and safety of our students, the Office of the President sent a memo to students, employees and public informing them of the decision to extend Spring Break (March 16th to March 23rd).

On March 23, 2020—All classes resumed online for students. Additional online services such as online tutoring, library resources, online advising, online training for Zoom and Blackboard, etc. is made available to students. On March 24, 2020, Tsaile and Shiprock Library closed with library services and transitioned to providing resources online. Students can contact library@dinecollege.edu for additional library assistance.

In addition, given the unique circumstances the College began to finalized a procedure for reporting of grades for our students. Students in their last semester are set to graduate on time. Graduation 2020 has been postponed with the assurance that diplomas will be sent out with the May 2020 date.
