If I stay is a heart wrenching, bittersweet, sob-worthy book. I like this book because it is realistic, but didn't actually happen. It is about a family who gets in a horrific car accident, and the main character Mia, has an out of the body experience. She sees herself in a severe coma. She also sees all of her family not survive this and now she has to contemplate staying or going. She has flashbacks to all of these different moments in her life, seeing the good and the bad realizing what she had and lost. So at the end of the book, she almost decides to pass on and be with her family but something stops her and she decides to stay, I love this book because you are always guessing whats going to happen next, and you fall deeper and deeper into the story each page. I hope that lots of people read this book and enjoy it as much as I do.
When I was in 3rd grade, I started an acting program called Golden Performing Arts. My first show was Annie and I enjoyed it very much. I decided to move forward with this and do even more shows. Now, I am still attending Golden and I am very happy with that decision. I hope to keep this an ongoing passion of mine. I love Golden very much and have created a second family.
When I was in about 3rd grade, I started playing on a recreational soccer team. We were called the sprinkles. I didn't really like the name but I did like my team and I did enjoy playing. Sadly, my team split up and I went to another team. We were called the purple smurfs and then team awesome. Another weird name, but I actually knew a lot more girls than I did on my other team. Some go here at A E Wright. Again, more girls left my team leaving a scarce amount to form a team. So we joined another team in the same situation. We all were strangers to each other, but we slowly got to know each other better. Till this day I am still with team united. I love and enjoy soccer very much. It helps me stay fit and gives me an excuse to hangout with my teammates.
Winter is my favorite season of all time. It also involves my favorite holiday, Christmas. It's the most wonderful time of the year. You get to dress in your warmest, comfiest winter clothes, and gather around by the fire. I love this time of the year mostly because it really brings a jolly vibe to everyone. It brings families together and just makes everybody forget about their troubles. Though I love winter, I would not like it to occur all year round because it would then lose its feeling and would bring less joy.
Every year, during Thanksgiving Break my family and family friends and I go to Dumont Dunes. This tradition has been going on since my dad was a kid. Many of our friends who come with us also came when they were kids. We have only missed one year because that was the year I was born. Since my birthday is usually during h=the camping trip, we celebrate my birthday. Every year my aunt makes her chocolate cupcakes for the camp ground to have. It is one of my favorite traditions my family and I do.
