Yes, if your pets are outside during the eclipse and look up at the sun, they can suffer from a retinal damage. Or even worse, they can come to the results of being blind
A solar eclipse is when the moon passes in between the earth and the sun, and it blocks the sun. You can view the eclipse at any part of the U.S but you have to wear protective gear, which are special glasses.
The solar eclipse will only last less than 7 minutes. It may be a little bit of time, but it will be worth it! Also depending on where you live, the eclipse will "be on" at different times.
