I am Tessie in this year's CRMS play!
I am a level 6 competitive optional gymnast at Calvin Twisters Gymnastics. I go to the gym over 17 hours a week to train. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday mornings!
The good 'ol south, where fried chicken is tradition, tea is sweet, we say grace and ma'am, it's y'all, and not you guys, it's coke and not "pop", hoop skirts are custom, and where we are proud to be born and raised! ( I love ALL thing southern )
I love my family so much! My family consists of my mom and dad, my older brother- Matt, my wee little brother- Jacob- he is really 8, and my amazing doggo ( aka my sister ) Maizy.
I journal. I write everything from prayer requests to little happy things and accomplishments that I did that day. It helps me relax and get in a good mood. I also just simply enjoy it.
I LOVE Mexican food! I love everything from tacos, to nachos, to quesadillas! If it's not fried chicken, ( see slide for the south ), it's Mexican!
Where we exist to see people experience life and live it to the fullest, Epic Church is where I've been to church most of my life. My parents are Full- Time pastors there, so if i am not at school or the gym, I am there! I lead K-First grade girl's small groups, and I REALLY enjoy it.
In April, I went to Swaziland, Africa on a mission trip to help the people of Lunthepeko. There we have a care point where we have a school room, a kitchen, a playground, and we have preschool and we feed over 400 children everyday. Right now, they are on the journey of building a church on site. When I went in April, I knew that I had found my calling of being a missionary.
I LOVE Nathan Bottles, as you can tell, since I try to bring one everyday.
