Most of the men think that women has the same opportunities as men. Less than half of women surveyed (45%) think they have equal opportunities to men, while six in 10 men think they do. In the US, almost three quarters of men (72%) think women have equal opportunities compared with just over half (53%) of women.
A major global women’s rights treaty was ratified by the majority of the world’s nations a few decades ago. Women often worked more than men yet paid less. Gender discrimination affects girls and women throughout their lifetime; and women and girls are often are the ones that suffer the most poverty even though women works more hard than men.
The society has stereotyped women into traditional roles. Women have been fighting for equality since many decades as a result there is a big transformation and women are finally getting their rights. Women are over educated. Women have more chances of getting a job then men. Women worked really hard and made tireless effort to show the society that they are as equal as men. It doesn't matter that they have different features then men.
Men and women were given different features. People are having their own particularities that make each individual unique but these natural differences cannot allowed to be the reason of social discrimination. The study shows that the most girls ranks higher in school than boys. The women's duties at home are more than numerous then men's.
The society in which we live today has been shaped historically shaped by men. Girls are shown to be far more passive than are boys and to engage in fewer activities. . It is frequently assumed that males use language which is forceful confident and masterful (all values which are regarded as positive). Females on the other hand, it is assumed, use language that is more hesitant, qualified, and tentative.
