the book Harry potter isn't necessarily a children but more teenager. i would still use this book as an example because it shows great sensory details. it is important to have good sensory details so the reader can imagine whats going on or what the characters look like. another reason why this book is special is because it has great conflict out of the books i have read.
i think this book is special because of the depth and different texture style for color. i think having the whole there makes the kids maybe even the parents wonder whats on the next page. the road the author took with the texture look is what makes it unique. the different lines and colors that blend well to together is important. having just one color can make the book sort of plain.
this book is special because it allows a child's imagination to soar. when a child is taught one thing only it gets boring. having books like this teaches a child to be free and creative. that's also why you don't see a lot of kids reading children biography books. another special thing about the book is relegating to it. kids can relate because in the book the character Max has freedom and can explore. in the kids life they are being controlled by their parents.
i choose this book because of the rhyming and creativity. to me personally i can remember things better if they rhyme and that is what this book does. i haven't read this book sense 6th grade and i still remember it almost word for word. there are so many ways the author showed creativity, one way is the different characters. each character has its only personality and goal in the book.
for children this book is a good introduction to environmental awareness. environmental awareness is very important and it nice to introduce it at a young age. this book is special because its hard to find books that has successfully put politics and great storytelling together. kids at young age might not understand whats fully going on but will understand if read more. another thing is the wonderful colors. there are lot of children books with tons of color but Dr Seuss does it well. he has his own style of writing and color design.
