My grandparents were born and grew up in Hertfordshire, England. They moved to Maryland, USA in 1972.
My dad's side of the family is German. We don't eat any German foods that I know of but I am open to trying new foods,
Popovers are a version of Yorkshire pudding which is English. Since my mom's side of the family is originally from England, my grandfather makes popovers for every special occasion and they are a family favorite.
This is a picture of popovers that my grandfather made, in the oven. When this picture was taken they were almost done.
My grandparents buy Christmas pudding on Christmas. They are the only ones that will eat the Christmas pudding.
Another food that my family usually eats at Christmas dinner is roasted potatoes. They are crispy on the outside and smooth and soft on the inside.
Hamburger and fries are some of the traditional foods that I like to eat. Sometimes my mom will make hamburger patties and sometimes my family will get hamburgers and fries from a fast food restaurant.
This is a picture of my grandfather. Whenever we have holiday dinners my grandfather does most of the cooking and so does my grandmother. Since they were the ones who used to live in England, they know all of the recipes that they used to eat. My grandad cooks some of my favorite dishes like the popovers.
Sausage pizza from Ledo's is part of the meal that I would want to eat for the rest of my life. Whenever I have a birthday party or celebration, I always ask for Ledo's pizza. My ideal meal would include Roasted Potatoes with cheese, root beer and chocolate fudge. These are my favorite foods.
