My dads whole side of the family is British with some Welsh and Irish. On the other hand, my moms side of the family is American, Italian, Irish, and Dutch.
Above is a picture of spaghetti. I have the picture there because I am part Italian. My great grandmother has an amazing spaghetti recipe that has even been passed down to me. Everyone in my family likes spaghetti so we eat it a lot.
I have this recipe on how to make Shepherds Pie because it is a traditional English dish. My dads side of the family is all British, so that makes me 1/2 British. My mom makes Shepherds pie all of the time for us because of my British Heritage.
Every Saint Patrick's Day my mom makes Irish potatoes. It isn’t really because of my Irish heritage, but because it’s a tradition. She makes them every year and they are delicious. They are a desert/snack made with pretty much butter, sugar, and cinnamon.
Bone Broth soup is a soup that our family eats a lot, usually on Christmas Eve. This recipe was passed down from my great grandmother and it has gone down generations. Its pretty much just bone broth cooked with vegetables, and some tiny noodles inside.
The older one on the right is my great grandmother. She is the one that passed down all of the delicious recipes. They went from her to my grandmother, and then down to my mom who cooks the food in our house.
If I had to eat one food for the rest of my life, it would definitely be grilled chicken and a side salad with Italian dressing. I eat this very often, and tastes really good. It’s also good for you!
