I would eat ramen forever! Though it has no ties to any of my culture, I love it so much.
My great, great, great grandfather (from what I know) came to America from Poland. He, of course, brought his culture with him to be carried out by his family.
My dad makes these homemade and we eat them traditionally with sour cream and salt. I don't eat them with sour cream though, I eat them with ketchup.
We eat chicken (not live) on holidays. Sometimes we have other meats but chicken is most consistent. The full meal is chicken, mashed potatoes, and vegetables.
Being part Polish myself I enjoy pierogis quite often. Though not homemade they are still quite delicious.
My food influences is my entire family. They all do the cooking, I, do not.
If you thought my culture was strange, take a look at other cultures! Though having fine cuisine they also have some more unique dishes.
