Both my mother and father are irish, so we have Irish foods often. On Saint Patrick's day, we always eat corned beef, potatoes, and cabbage, and we have them at other times as well.
My family is also Italian, and we make a lot of Italian foods.Like Bruschetta, Gnocchi, Gnocchi di semolino, Capellini, Fettuccine Alfredo, Calamari ripieni, Biscotti, Gelato, and others.
My last name is german, and my dad is german. Some of the german foods that my dad cooks include Sauerkraut, Bratwurst, Spätzle, Knöpfle, and others.
Some of the foods that I eat because of my culture include, Pasta, Bratwurst, Gnocchi, Potatoes, Corned beef, Brisket, and other smoked meats. There are a lot of other foods that I eat, but they are not influenced by my culture.
Some of the foods we eat on holidays are not influenced by our culture, but they are just there. On Saint Patrick’s Day, we always eat Corned beef, Potatoes, and Cabbage, because my family is Irish. And on Christmas, we always eat a roast, smoked meat, chocolate creme pie, and other holiday foods. This is more of a French or english meal, and my family is from Europe.
My dad influences the food that I eat, because he has exposure to cultural diversity and he has really good culinary skills. This is a link to our old restaurant where he made foods that reflected our culture, as well as other cultures.
If I had to chose one meal to eat for the rest of my life, I would chose this. A king crab with a side of gnocchi with parmesan cheese, a salad with cucumbers, and a smoothie with coconut and banana. I love crab, and gnocchi, and they aren't a flavor that is too strong, so it would be easier to eat it everyday. Also it gives you a good amount of nutrients, which would help keep you alive with just this food. So it's not that bad for you, and it's good.
