Here is George S. Patton’s helmet and belt on display in the General George S. Patton museum of leadership.
General George S. Patton has a lot of amazing quotes, and I mean a lot of them, but in my opinion I think this quote is the best of them all.
Here is a photo of a young George Patton in 1918 standing proudly with his gloves in his right hand beside a French Renault FT light tank.
Willie was known to follow Gen. George Patton everywhere, and he was known to be an extremely love able dog for George Patton. (If you don’t already know this, here you go: the English Bull Terrier is a pit bull. So break the stereotype of the breed because it’s not the breed that makes the dog aggressive, it’s the person raising the dog which makes the dog aggressive. Any dog can be vicious, but only if you make it that way.)
Born into a military family, General George S. Patton attended the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, where he developed the M1913 Cavalry Saber (the Patton Sword). He later saw combat in WWI and WWII, and he helped develop the U.S. Tank “M-46 Patton.”
