I chose this as my starting point because Varsity Tutors does a great job of explaining standard form of a quadratics equation. They explore the equation itself as well as giving you a breakdown of what the graph looks like, the key characteristics of a quadratic, and as well as domain and range of the function.
This resource was chosen because it covers vertex form of a quadratic equation very well. It shows you the equation, then goes in depth about what information the equation provides and how to use the form to figure out other parts of a quadratic equation. It also does a good job of visually laying out how to graph the equation and its steps.
I chose this video to demonstrate how to graph quadratics in intercept form. The speaker does a great job of narrating her work while she goes through an example and shows you all steps to graphing the quadratic successfully.
This video was chosen because it covers all areas of quadratic equations as well as different methods of solving quadratic equations to get certain parts of the graph, The video does a great job of breaking down each equation and extracting all the information needed from a quadratic using different solving methods. This is a great way to bring the unit together at the end.
