Instructions: Match each graph to a story. On a piece of binder paper, write 1 sentence why the graph and the story match for each graph. You should have at least 4 sentences. BONUS: Find the trick! Write one misconception that someone might have about a graph, and why they might make that mistake.
Use student code: 9NARK Instructions: Log on using your real first name, please. Try your best to accurately draw each graph before looking at the answer! Please keep in mind that I can see what you write/draw here! :)
Instructions: 1. Work with a partner. 2. Grab a Graphing Stories Handout from the warm up table. Each one of you should get a handout. 3. Pick any video to start. Watch the video and try to use the information to sketch an accurate graph in pencil. You may watch the video as many times as you want, and pause it along the way. Write the title of each video and scale your axes for each graph. 4. Do NOT watch the "Answer" video until the very end! (This will spoil the surprise!) 5. Once you have watched the answer video, use a colored pen to draw the "real" graph on the same graph. How did you do? 6. Complete 4 video graphs like this!
