This painting seems to have been made on a computer, and the variety of colors makes it more interesting to look at. The artist made this picture very realistic. This picture shows a lady just outside, and you can see how happy she is. This relates to my theme because I think this shows that she's happy with life, and the outdoors. In the picture it looks like she's just enjoying herself in the sun. It's just a simple piece of art but it really shows how happy she is.
What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong was a single that came out in 1967. Then in 1999, it was put into the Grammy Hall of Fame! It was not very popular at first, but then later became a huge hit. In this song by Louis Armstrong, he lists things that he likes and sees in the world. They aren't super big and fancy things. They are super simple, everyday things that he sees. In the song he seems like a very down to earth person who enjoys life, and doesn't focus on owning the newest things he wants. This relates to my theme because he notices small things and loves the life he has. to be happy you don't only have to love your belongings, but it is a big part as well as just loving your life
The author of this quote is unknown, but it's a really good quote. The date it was written also isn't know. In this quote, it says, "if you want to feel rich, just count all of the things you have that money can't buy." By this it is advocating that you don't need to be rich to be happy, you have everything you need if you are happy with what you already have. i think of this as how even though you might not have a lot, someone in the world always has less. But a lot of times people who have the least are the most humble, and are happy with their lives
This website has a lot of different poems relating to a theme you search. The poem I found was written by Democritus, who was born in about 460 bc. He was a Greek philosopher who was super smart. In this first poem, it says, "Happiness resides not in possessions, not in gold Happiness dwells in the soul. - Democritus " This ties into my theme because it says " Happiness dwells in the soul." So even while you should value the significance of items you own, you shouldn't be focused on how much you paid for it, you should focus on it's worth/meaningfulness to you. Something that just makes you happy when you look at it. Happiness is being humble.
The author of this article was Paul Walker. His article was published on this website on April 12th, 2010. He wrote about the key to happiness. In this article, Paul Walker explains how and why wanting the things you already have is a key to happiness. it really relates to a deeper part of my happiness theme. When you want what you already have, and don't keep wanting the new things, you can see the meaning in what you have and why it is important. Happiness can be easily achieved if you just enjoy life and you are thankful for what you have.
This quote was written by John Lennon. He was a musician and helped found the Beatles band. This ties into my theme because even at a young age John Lennon realized he wanted to be happy. I'm sure every other kid had an answer like astronaut, or doctor, or a firefighter. He realized that life would be more worthwhile if he was happy all the time. My theme of happiness is a pretty general idea, but there are so many parts to it. Being happy will really make your life better. If he wanted to be happy I'm sure he was happy in his life
