Organic Certified Cataratto from a Royal Sicillian family. It opens with zesty lemon, white flowers and a hint of beeswax. On the palate, creamy white peach and nectarine. It is simple, but well made with crisp acidity that gives to a clean bright finish. Drink it on it's own or pair with light appetizers. A copper coloured 3 day skin contact Pinot Grigio. Hand picked and produced in small quantities on the family's farm in the hills of Friuli. Lush aromas of wild strawberry, acaia blossoms and pecorino cheese hint at it's complexity. On the palate, a racy minerality is tempered with lush tropical fruit such as papaya and lychee and a mid palate of quince. Typical flavours of bitter almond skin and Apline honey lead to a round mouthfeel. This Grenache opens with earthy aromas of truffle and soil and then blends seamlessly into secondary notes of cherry, blackberry, rose and leather. The wine is smooth, soft and utterly crushable.
