He was hated by white people because he's playing baseball with white people in a white league basically and know one likes that. and they don't think he's good, or he doesn't have the right to. The impact that Jackie Robinson had on me is that he showed me that you can do what ever you believe in or want to do no matter what anyone say's. I can connect to him a little because I play baseball on a all white team and I feel comfortable playing with them and I feel accepted, so I can slightly relate. He connects to present day by the MLB having a day where every player where's number 42 to honorate him and his bravery to show that everyone is equal.
