During war times Roman citizens wore to battle a galea (helmet), scutum (Shield), Gladius (sword) or a javelin for throwing. In the Roman Games there are two men. The two men work as a team but there are hundreds of other teams. During the chariot race one team mate controls the horses as the other tries to sabotage the opposing teams. In another game the team tries to kill the other teams with the gladius, shield, and javelin. The games lasted for 123 days every time a roman leader dies for sacrifices or when the Romans just won a war.
